Air Leak at Pipe Entering Pump

I thought I had the air leak figured out when I found a crack in the lid, but once I replaced the lid, air is still entering the pump. When I troubleshot it and turned off the pump, I saw water leaking on the underside of the pipe that enters into the pump from the pool. How should I go about fixing it? Can I just caulk it, or do I need to replace the pipe? There isn't much pipe and I believe it is adhered to the pump.

Thanks!

That joint should be just screwed into the pump. I would consider cutting the horizontal pipe and the vertical pipe below the fittings. Then unscrew the pipe from the pump.

Then screw a new fitting in with pipe dope, add more vertical pipe and another 90 and put a union between the new 90 hook things back up.
