huge thanks for the help...pool is almost there now need a good auto vacuum or even a good vacuum I can work myself ..thanks a ton for all you guys advice..internet advice..who knew some of it was factual like here..

I'm gonna' revive an old tip because I thought it was really cool.

Folks with round AG pools can get everyone in the pool and start walking around the outside perimeter as fast as they can. The resultant "tornado" in the water move all the floor debris to the center of the pool where it is quickly vacuumed. I think that's the cat's pajamas!!

You could start by simply purchasing a pole and vacuum head and see if that works. Very little investment ($75 or so) and that would let you know if you wanted an auto-vac at all.

so that method she (wife unit) has been doing for years is the cats meow?..ok I will stick with the old tornado method as has been done in the snoots residence for years (use to work better as all but 1 kid is gone)
