I have a intex above ground pool 15x48 and I have already went thru two of their crappy pumps. The first one broke about six weeks after purchase they then replaced the part an it was broken about two days later again. What is a good pump to purchase for this pool. The pump is located on the side of the wall also. Thanks for the advice in advance

OK, is the pump a skimmer type? If it is, you can get an adapter to the large Intex hoses through amazon.com
Recommended pump sizes for our pool size is the 2500 gph cartridge filter, or the 2650 gph sand filter. That is, if you want to stay with Intex equipment.
If you would rather go with mainstream pool equipment, a full rated 3/4 hp pump coupled with you choice of filter styles would be a good idea.
