Vacuum question

Hi All

I use one of those cheap vacuums that you install your garden hose on. For the past 2 years it was great but this year I have lots of fine sediment that goes right through the bag.

Anyone have a good inexpensive vacuum they could recommend that would pick that up? Or I have read about putting a nylon stocking over the white mesh bag it comes with?

Also since you guys are so good at answering questions. Can you use your pool cleaning brush for distributing salt around the pool or should I use a regular pushbroom (that you'd use on your driveway)

Thanks

What you are describing is what I call a leaf bagger.

For dust your best choice is a "regular" vacuum, the vacuum head connects to a hose that plugs into a skimmer and vacuums the dust right into the filter.

Something like this (the hose is not in the photo, but is required)
