    3" Trichlor pucks

I have 5 left over trichlor 3"m pucks since I converted over to the BBB method. How much would those 5 pucks raise the CYA?

Use the "Effects of adding Chemicals" section at the bottom of PoolMath. Each trichlor puck usually weighs 6-8oz.

Save them! Keep them dry and in an airtight can and they'll last years. You'll be wanting them if you leave town at all during the swim season.

Troublefree does not mean Maintenancefree. It's like brushing your teeth: You can spend a couple minutes a day and pennies a week or go to the dentist once a year and spend several thousand dollars.
A pool is like a pet - you have to feed it every day, even the days you don't want to play with it!
