My pool has the hot tub that overflows into the pool. When I turn the jandy valve to pull water only from hot tub no change is seen in pressure. However when I turn the other jandy valve to put all flow into the hot tub only, pressure spikes to high and i have to back it off to make it dump some into the pool. I have noticed that 3 of the 6 jets in the hot tub are not functioning. Could this be the cause? no loeaks or water loss is expierenced. Thanks in advance.

The jet nozzles are probably clogged. The jets nozzles are deep within the spa wall so a socket wrench with a long extension is needed to remove them. Note that the nozzles are not the outer fittings that you can see. Once removed, you can run the pump and flush out any debris that might be stuck behind the nozzles.
