I just opened the pool yesterday. The pool had been covered all the time it's been closed.

FC: 0
PH: 7.5
TA: 110
CYA: 80
SALT" 3000
Water is clear

After I measured yesterday, I added 24oz of chlorine. Today, I measured again and FC=0. Added 24oz of chlorine. Checked back after 45min. FC = 1. Added another 24 oz.

During the closed time, once in a while I ran the SWG. Is something wrong here?

Since yesterday:

I added a 5 lb of salt to bring up to 3200 ppm

Been working on bring down PH. Adding acid to bring PH and TA down. Today TA = 100. Keep adding acid and doing aeration.

Having a little extra chlorine demand when you first open in the spring is fairly common. I suggest bringing the FC level up to around 10, and then do an overnight chlorine loss test just to make sure you cleared out whatever is causing the excess chlorine demand.
