Raypak vs Pentair Pool Heaters

Curious if anyone has a good opinion on the better of the two heaters to get installed on a 24K inground pool. Looking at either the Raypak Lo-nox vs Pentair Mastertemp. I see the Raypak goes around $1850 vs $1750 for the 300 btu Pentair.

PS. . . I live in California, and my pool equipment is all old Hayward products.

Raypak seems to be the most recommended heater on the forum. Simpler and easier to work on.

I see online that there are less complaints with the Raypaks. Question . . . I see the Pentair is designed to prevent spiders from damaging the elements because they are fully enclosed. Is anyone know if spiders are able to access the Raypak elements. I live in Southern California and we have huge spider issues, spider webs cover every piece of lawn chair I own, despite hosing them down weekly and spraying bug spray everywhere.

I've never seen spider webs in a Rheem burner tube but your mileage may vary. We don't have these spider issues here in FL.
