I have a handmade half above, half below pool. Depth is only four feet total. Skimmer at the top edge, jet at two feet below that, with a GAME SandPro filter. Worked like a charm all year. I drained the pool after I found a couple of small cracks so I can repair them. I am going to move the filter away from the pool a bit and hard plumb it. I also want to add a fitting for a vacuum line if possible, but have no clue how to do it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am unclear what type of pool you have? A vacuum line generally looks the same as a return line, it just does not have the eyeball in the pool.
