This is my second post here. Already been sooooo much help!
Wish I would have known what I've learned here 4 months ago. My pool guy let my FC go to 0 and now I have algae on walls.
He's gone and I'm taking over. That was another thread.
Anyway onto this threads questions.
Is it OK to leave Kreepy Krauly connected 24/7?
In order for it to run properly I have to almost completely shut the skimmer line off and leave the vacuum line open.
I have a variable speed pump, but can only program two settings through out the day.
7am to 12pm low speed, Kreepy doesn't move.
3pm to 7pm higher speed. Kreepy does his job.
With this setup am I getting proper filtering?
Should I run the skimmer one day, then run the kreepy the next day?
Also I will be slamming the pool soon. I'm guessing I need to run the skimmer and disconnect the kreepy during this process.
