After 5 days away at work pool is messed up :(

Pool was running great for past month now I come back after 5 days away and both skimmers and jammed ( the pool one and the one attached to the pump) I clean both of them and fill water into the pool one and turn it on everything seems fine but no water is coming out of the pool side and the skimmer is not sucking in anything. Anything else I can try?

When I refilled the water the pump sucks all of it in also and the skimmer doesnt get refilled with water.

What's your pump pressure reading?

Sound like the impeller might be clogged up with the junk that was in the baskets.

Pressure is 0 this morning pulled skimmer on pump open to try to snake some wire tp see if it clears but water was boiling and motor is really hot

If water is "boiling" but not as hot as normal boiling water, it would indicate a high vacuum caused by a clogged pipe or closed valve between the skimmer and pump inlet.

Is your water level too low? I guess I'm not understanding what you mean by "the skimmer won't fill back up."

Just to confirm, is your pressure gauge fully functional?

Yep something stuck in the pump



Got all the screws out that I can find but still can't pop the cover to see the impeller. Any trick to it is it glued? impeller spins with hardly any effort.

The impeller should unscrew from the motor shaft if you can't clear the debris from there.

ok gotcha. I just want to take it all apart just to be double sure since I already have it this far.
