Frost Heave or shrunk liner?

I think I found the answer to heaving. We'll just have to tear down and re-build...doing it on our own.

Why all the pool builders think we should put out pool uprights on sand, I don't know.

Hate to hear about your problems. Maybe some other members in cold country will chime in about frost heave. I am in Georgia near Augusta and we don't have to worry about that, just heat, humidity and bugs.
