    Pool Heater Shopping

I am in the market for a pool heater for my inground pool. I have decided that I'm going with a 400,000 BTU heater. I live in Buffalo so I have some harsh weather to consider. They all seem about the same. My salt Walter filter is Sta-rite. Please help

    Welcome to TFP!

I am fond of Raypak pool heaters, though really the differences from brand to brand aren't all that large.

I've found the Raypak's to have the least amount of parts you need to replace. It's a simple design. Theirs no expensive fan's you need to replace and holds up well in winter environments.
