Hi all, Not sure if this is the right forum, but wanted to see if anyone has ideas on this issue. We have a paver patio around our pool area, which has tan colored polymeric sand between the pavers. We recently had our house re-roofed, and the guys left such a mess! Loose asphalt and debris from the old roof everywhere! As it was winter, this became wet and has now turned our tan polymeric sand to black! We thought about powerwashing out the top layer of polysand, and re-polysanding the whole area, but I think there would be an issue getting the new layer of polysand to bond to the old/under layer. Trying to remove ALL of the poly sand (2.5" deep would be a huge undertaking, but if that's the best course of action, then that's what we will have to do (the roofer will be paying for the remediation). Another paver installer recommended using a diluted solution of Simple Green and cleaning it all with a medium bristle brush. We havent tried that yet, so I'm still doing research on best approach. Thoughts?
