Help with P 280 seal kit

My ---Polaris 280 PB4-60 …(?) w/Century AO Smith FRAME- N56CZ 3/4hp, SF 1.5, 6.4 AMP, non-self priming. pt.# 0-173840-23--- has developed a slow leak. I have the seal replacement kit that I plan on installing myself.



Can I gets pointers/tips from those that have done this?
