so i am new to pool timers. I am having a 17k gallon fiberglass pool installed. I am going to have a 2 speed jandy pool pump 1hp. I will have a sand filter and a suction side cleaner with a circupool swg. any suggestions on what we should put for our timer?

What do you want the timer to do? Just turn the pump on and off or also switch the speeds?
i think just on and off. i would think the only time i will run on high will be when putting in chemicals or running the cleaner.
I agree. Can't go wrong with the mechanical Intermatic timers. Just get the 230v version (I assume it is hardwired pump at that voltage? ) And it should supply power to the pump and SWG.
