Muriatic shelf life?

Does MA have a shelf life like chlorine or is it good longer if kept in a cool(ish) dark place?

Probably no one keeps ma in direct sunlight but does uv/heat degrade ma?

No, UV will not affect Muriatic Acid. Sunlight or hot temperatures may increase evaporation of the liquid and increase pressure in the bottle which with its pressure release cap may release some gas into the air. Any metal nearby can corrode when this occurs.
