    Strange stains

    Hello all,

Recently I have noticed some strange stains on the pool surface, I have only noticed them on the shallow end. It looks like rust embedded into the pool area (), and even scrubbing it off persistently with a pool brush didn't help.

Any idea what it might be? See in the attached photo, the smudged brown point just in the middle of the frame.

    Many thanks in advance!

They could be rust / metal staining. Try rubbing a vitamin C tablet on them and see if they lighten or go away.

Slepax, did you get a chance to try the Vitamin C tab? I have similar stains and this is the first I've heard of using Vit C. I need to go pick some up but was wondering if it worked for you.

No, I haven't. It's still on my to-do list. I will post something back on the forum once I have more info.
