Should I spend $150 on a second intex swg and run 2 of them?

Last year I used a newer model intex swg on my 18' summer escapes and had to run it 6 hours a day to keep my fc around 3-5.

Had planned since last year and still really wanting to get the 16x32 intex this year and put a skimmer in it but money is tight. If it does happen may be later on in the summer and still then will need to not spend a lot.

I don't want to run the pump 12 hours a day.

Should I run 2 intex swgs side by side (or can 2 run inline ok?)? Or would that money be better spent on a real one + sell my intex one on CL.

I suppose I could supplement with bleach too until something is figured out.

and it says it good in up to 18k gallon pools, my new one would be around 15k, is that going to need real long cycles with this thing just like the intex?

Or this cheaper model chlor ease that goes inside pool, instructions manual leads me to believe this is supposed to be good for 18k gallons too.

Two Intex SWGs run in parallel is your best bet, assuming you don't mind setting up their plumbing.
