Intex Ultra Frame Skimmer Bracket

How about installing a through the wall skimmer? It has been done many times by others here on the forums. The only caveats are the adapter you will have to make, and cutting a hole in the side of the pool.

Search the forums for how others have done this.

I suggest this because the Intex brackets won't last more than 1 season, and for the ultraframe, you would have to buy the entire skimmer assembly, I think. I've not seen those sold separately anywhere.

It's not much cheaper than buying the entire thing. Mine broke right in the curve of the arm. I used tie wraps to secure it to the pool and it lasted forever. See if there is a way you can "rig" it. Otherwise, here it is:http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=intex+skimmer+bracket&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Aintex+skimmer+bracket
