I was going to purchase a Pentair filter/pump combo for a new AGP based on recommendations from this site. In order to get the best pricing for the pool set-up, my dealer is offering me a Waterway Millennium 520-5182-6M. Both are 200 sf, 2hp, 2 spd configurations, I just haven't seen much about the brand on the forum. Any thoughts?

I have not heard anything overly negative about Waterway, except that it is not as common as Pentair or Hayward so it may be harder to find parts locally. Even for a 2 speed, 2 hp is a whole lot of pump. You would probably do just as well with a 1 hp 2 speed. It would be a less expensive pump and use less electricity, making it cheaper to run.
