Good job edge ? You should be able to live with that. When you get into the heart of summer that level will help you. Some folks who live in the sunbelt on the forum have there CYA level at 60-65.
Make sure you adjust your FC for that CYA level. Go a couple of ticks higher than the target level so you have some wiggle room. ?

Currently it says I need 4.875 fc so at 5.5 I should be ok. And yes we get loads of sunshine and I have ZERO shade for my pool. If the sun is shining, it's in the pool.

Your min FC level for your CYA level is 5. Round up to 70 and your target level is 8. I would shoot for 10 to give you wiggle room for FC loss. ?

I just don't want to see all the effort you put in to lower your CYA level and then not have the proper FC levels and have an algae outbreak. ?
