New - kind of - in PA

I say "kind of" because I've been lurking since 2012. I picked up the BBB method then and have been using it successfully ever since.

Now I'd like to convert to a SWCG and I may be posting some questions. I thought it'd be prudent to introduce myself before I post too many questions.

    South Central PA
    20x40 inground, vinyl liner
    33,000 gal.
    Hayward 2.75 HP pump
    Hayward DE filter

I think that's all my relevant info

    You're done SLAMing when:
    1)You lose 1ppm or less FC overnight, & 2)You have .5ppm CC's or less, & 3)your water is clear.
