Leak around return- how to fix before filling?

Pool is closed and winterized but while examining everything trying to figure it out for our first opening (bought the house in the fall so my uncle came and closed it for us the weekend we moved in) I noticed what appears to be a leak around the return on the outside of the pool, barely any water dripping out since it was drained below this point but probably should be fixed before we fill I'm guessing. So how so I fix this? See pic.

I would guess you just need to replace the gasket between the yellowish fitting and the pool. I think it should just unscrew while holding the interior portion, but I have no hands on experience.
