New pool owner. The solar cover from the previous owners was tore up so we need to repace this summer. 24' round AG pool. Do we get blue or clear? How Many mil? What brand do you recommend?

I have a 12 mil clear cover. It is a bit cumbersome. I cut it in half to make it more manageable. Helped a lot. Here is where I got it from. They have good prices and free shipping. http://www.solarcovers.com/shop/solar-covers
I've only had it one season so it's still in good condition. People only get 2-3 years out of them so they generally get the cheaper ones. If that's all I get out if this one I'll probably get an 8 mil.

I would suggest shopping around, ebay, amazon, etc sometimes there are deals to be found, I bought one last winter as an off season cover for my indoor pool for about $110 shipped I think it is 10 or maybe 12 mil.
