Raypak propane heater malfunction

This morning I went to raise the temperature on my 8 month old propane heater and the display doesn't work. The screen brightens when the on/off button is turned on, but there are no numbers to be seen. I have no temperature reading, no indication of mode, no way to view diagnostic codes, etc. Otherwise I can get the heater to come on and can raise the temperature to an unknown amount, but I'm basically blind to any settings.

Anybody hear of this happening and recommended solutions? I doubt that the warranty goes beyond 6 months, but I'm still investigating that.

I'd appreciate any suggestions.

After researching the Internet, I am suspecting that the display unit failed which is a sub-board of the main control board. Monday, there is supposed to be someone coming out to look at it.

You are correct. It's just the display board.
