    Pickles, anyone?

    WooHoo! Picked about 15 lbs of pickling cukes today, enough to get the first crock of the year put up....

    I prefer to ferment them rather than use vinegar in a "quick pickle." Should be ready in about a month.
    13,000 gal AGP, Hayward X-Stream 100 sq ft cartridge, 1 HP Hayward Power-Flo Matrix Pump, all on two 6-hour on cycles per day. Baquacil to BBB convert.

    Mmmm, pickles. We love pickles.
    Hot, garlic, sweet, sour, new, tomatoes, watermelon rindes, and so on.
