Liquidator overfilling

I have a commercial liquidator, I can only add about 3 gallons of chlorine to the feeder at a time before it overflows with water. Not sure what is going on. Any help?

Just short term and then it levels out? I have to take a break when filling mine.

you can gently hold the out float up to cut off water then slowly fill, or turn off pump and slowly fill it and let it run down again. Think this is my 3rd or 4th year with liquidator,, compared to other systems it's low tech but once dialed in very solid and very little more adjustments needed or extra "gizmos" to break----- Just what I wanted.

I have found on mine that if you invert a bleach bottle into the funnel it will only drain into the LQ as the level goes down enough to accommodate it. So I refill mine thusly.
