algae around steps

starting to get a bit of green algae around the steps
i think this is due to a bad circulation issue
is there an easy way to modify the circulation pattern
i have a bean shaped pool with skimmer in the centre of the curved wall and a return jet each side between skimmer and end of pool

fc 10 -hasn't been under 8 this year

ch 140 -this recently dropped from 180, i am bringing this back up to around 200, there has been a lot of splash out but only ch changed dramatically

performed overnight chlorine loss test end of jan with no loss

Have you tried aiming the returns differently ? Can you point one towards the steps more ?

i have tried aiming the jets but they have a very limited range

just been to pool, a lot of leaves, but gives an idea where steps and return jets are, just near light

Have you been brushing them ? Maybe brush them a couple of times a day if you can't get good circulation there.
