    Hello from TX :)

Well we're almost a month in on our pool build here on the north side of Houston

It's an IG gunite pool with a Stonescapes mini pebble finish with a spa , about 24k gal

Hopefully it will be done in a couple weeks if the weather cooperates

This is actually our second pool , we had one (a small IG gunite) in our first house 1999-2004 but a LOT has changed since then. Way more options now !!!
I swore I'd never pay to build one again but after a recent move back into suburbia my 10yr old & wife won out

I'll try & get some pics up in the under construction forum

I'm looking forward to gaining a lot more knowledge than I had last time from this great site !!

what a difference the internet makes for sharing info on stuff like this
23k gunite, Stonescapes Mini Aqua Blue w/seashell, Pentair CCP520 cartridge filter, 2 Pentair Intelli-Flo VS pumps, Pentair Mastertemp 400, Pentair EasyTouch 8+wireless controller, Silencer spa blower, 3 Intellibrite LEDs, Pentair Racer cleaner, Pentair 320 chlorinator
    my build

Welcome cnatra! We too are in our construction phase and in the Houston area.

And yes TFP is a great place. I am trying to prepare myself for the "after the pool is filled" stage and reading up on pool chemistry and chemicals.

    Good luck with your build!
