    Is it possible to delete thread if author so wishes?

    There isn't any way you can delete a post. However, you can edit the post and put in a request to have a mod delete the post for you.

    In "Everything Else" forum I started thread titled "light NOOK leak" Can you change it to light niche? instead of light NOOK?
