So we've had about 85 inches of snow so far in Michigan and approximately 36" of it is piled on my winter cover(inground). Should I be worried about the weight? Not sure if I should go out and try and pull some of the snow off or not. Any feedback would be appreciated.

There's really not a thing you can really do at this point. Once it starts to warm up (IF it ever does) then you'll want to drain some of the water off, but for now I wouldn't worry. In all honesty it's probably a solid block of ice and there's nothing you can do to move any of it anyways.
I say put on the ole swim suit and head out with a broom and get some of that snow off of there. LOL
