OK, not really - I truly do feel for those folks in the Southern states that so rarely see freezing temps - in comparison, in northern Illinois I currently have a 135,000 pound ice cube waiting for a thaw of some kind!
Yep...we have had much more cold here in DFW than normal. I saw some statistic that we have had 43 days and/or nights with below freezing temps so far this year...much more than normal. We still have a fair amount of winter to go through (although we have been promised much warmer temps by the end of this week). I've said it before and I'm gonna say it again...The only ice I want to see is in a freezer or in a tall glass with a refreshing beverage.
