Raypak seems to be the most often recommended heater on the forums ... The bigger the better as it will heat faster.

Everyone around here, and seemingly everywhere appear like Raypak the best overall. I'm getting one for this reason, so I am hoping it loves up.

Another plug for getting the largest heater (in BTU's) that your current gas configuration will support. It takes a given number of BTU's to heat a given water volume to a target temperature. A larger heater will do the job faster while not using any more total BTU's (vs. a smaller heater) to heat the water to your target temperature.

A good test kit is an investment, not an expense.
