    It appears that the posting of links buttons has changed from the old "way".

    For instance, you used to could post an URL as simple text (with a link) rather than show the entire web page URL, by substituting the URL for text. That option seems to have disappeared in the transition.

    Is there a simple "code" solution to this? (I can't remember the code from before). or will this reappear in the "post" or "reply" interface in the future?

    To post a straight link without linked text the code is <url>http://link address</url> . Substitute the < > angle brackets with [ ] square brackets.

    To post linked text the code is <url=http://link address> your text here </url> .
