    use of hydrochloric acid in place of muriatic acid

    Can I use hydrochloric acid in sted of muriatic acid or dry acid as used in the pool calculator?
    Thank you..
    55000 Gallon IG Fiber glass. 2x 5bag sand filter, 2x 1.1hp single speed pumps.2x weirs. Hot weather high uv.

    Those are the same thing. Hydorchloric and Muriatic. Just check the strength and match that to what is says in Pool Math.
