Another +1 for Pool Pal. Just stated using it and it matches Pool Math exactly. It remembers your settings and keeps a log too. Also lets you record filter pressure and back washes.
Why not make PoolMath an App?

Due to where I live having poor phone reception and sometimes intermittent internet, I've saved the pool calc and pool math webpages locally. I have them on computers and phone, I just open the file with my browser on the computer or file manager on the phone if I don't have a connection.
SimplePool Pro is my favorite too but it has been pulled from the Google play store.
I just downloaded "Pool Pal" from the Itunes store and unless I am missing something, it is worthless. Buyer beware. It was only $.99 though
I have used The Pool Monitor for the last 3 years. I don't remember if it's paid, but it has charts that you can keep track of fluctuations with.
If it does not follow the recommended levels here, then I would not consider it very useful.
You can set your own goals for it. I have put the goals set here. It has a list of options of the bleach percentages and other chemical used here. I first knew about the bbb method using the drop down options, although I didn't know it was a named method. I just though it was worth mentioning since everyone was an app and spreadsheet to keep track.
There is finally an app that supports all 3 phone operating systems...iOS, Android, AND Windows Phone.

Anyone having trouble with the Pool Pal app? It worked last week but the last two days it isn't working.

Works fine for me and matches pool math.
Is there really no secret sauce in the caclulations, meaning one app won't really, or shouldn't, differ in terms of what you are adding? Assuming the app has the different settings like Pool Math for bleach concentrations and stuff, it may fit the bill on the phones. I still like PoolMath though, so you can see everything.

Thanks, Lisa. I guess a setting or something changed on my phone. I'm still getting "unfortunately, Pool Pal has stopped." I just purchased Simple Pool Professional. Will have to get use to it, but I really liked the Pool Pal.
Are the calculations used available - I could likely figure them out by playing around?

You are welcome to use the numbers and equations in PoolMath, but the HTML, Javascript, logo, and overall appearance are copyright by me and/or TFP and should not be copied/used.
Poolmath works fine in my browser on my android phone and android tab. Use it all the time in both.
