New Pool Build. Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget

Yes we have 5. They are all 9 and under so we wanted a large shallow end also. We are not doing a diving board or slide right now I am a scaredy cat. Lol! I think yours is going to be much fancier than mine.

IMG_6342.jpgSitting here this evening and feel like a kid waiting for Santa Claus. We have been rained out for almost 3 weeks and tomorrow retain wall block is being delivered, last footing to be filled, and crew showing up to do the pool bottom. I am patient but the wife reminds me 2 to 3 times every day that she will have her family reunion Memorial weekend at the pool. The clock is ticking.

We actually had trouble picking between 2 different ones so came up with a plan. We had our daughter pick the winner and are going with "Cantebury Tile Glimmerglass Floor". We like the shinning effect of the glimmer glass ones.

Good choice on letting the kids pick the liner. I let my 2 kids pic the liner of their pool back in 07 and we all enjoyed it! It was a dolphin print on the walls with a tan bottom. That pool was glowing green with blue walls and the tannish yellow bottom for the first year that we had it and afterward, it turned a beautiful turquois. It was a really nice liner.

Well we are at it again after many rain delays. Part of living in Mississippi in the Spring I guess.

Pool bottom finished.

Great pictures of the progress coming along. How do you post so many pictures at a time? I ran out of space on my thread after posting two and can't upload anymore. Help!

The bottom of the pool was done on mine three days ago and they finished putting in the liner and water yesterday. It goes quick from here. Just had the fence installed. We're almost ready to go. It won't be much longer for you judging from my own. I like the wall you're putting up. It will really add to the overall design.

I use photobucket.com , you can post more pictures because you are storing them there instead of using up TFP's bandwidth for storage.

Coping arrived and install completed. These are a buff color that are about 4 ft long.
