Adding pictures

Could someone please tell me how to add pictures to a post ? I have tried and cant seem to figure it out ...

Please help me too!!!! Before the upgrade I had no problems but now I can't put any size pics up at all?????Why?

I know you can use photobucket. But for those of us with dial up or slow speed internet it is a pain. How come we could upload pics before but can't seem to do it now? I have seen that some people can still do it. Am I missing something?
