I'm reassembling my light fixture and I need to know what type of bolt/nut I should use on the clamp as well if anti-seize is safe to use underwater. Long story short, my bulb was replaced earlier this year and I was told to use a brass nut. Well, it seized up, came loose and allowed the clamp to open. I'm reassembling again and it appears that my may need to replace my bolt (new nuts are hard to start).

So my question is, please tell me what I should use to secure the clamp?

I would add to take a look at good quality stainless steel like marine grade stainless. Maybe a bit more pricey but better quality. Sometimes a lower grade will still corrode after awhile.
Just my 0.02 !!
