    Chlorine and Freezing

    Does chlorine in water affect its freezing point? (i.e. raise or lower from 32 degrees).
    24k gallon inground gunite with fibertech liner
    Cartridge filter 100 sq ft

    Not at all, and not possible in pool concentrations. Youd have to be talking about large percentages vs. PPM for Chlorine in water to make a change for water's freeze point.
