Help with Pool/Spa settings. Weird setup

Sorry for all the weeds around this system. I am renting this house and the pool guy has no idea how to the spa on correctly and basically left me with "just don't use it".

I refuse to leave it at that and have been trying everything to figure out how to make this work.

So far, here are the things I can do:

1. I have figured out how to make the water quit overflowing from spa to pool.
2. warm, but not hot water is coming from the jets in the spa
3. the floor system still goes and i believe warm water is also going into the pool somehow.
4. This setup is really confusing with all of the different Jandy switches.

Can anyone help me figure out what does what?

Without labels, I'm going to be guessing, too. But experimenting is ok.

Are all 3 pumps running? (The 2 in the first picture, and the the 1 in the last picture?) Is the heater on? What did you do to make the water from the spa stop overflowing into the pool?
