I recently had my pool cover replaced after 9 yrs. The pulley bearings were pretty noisy so I thought that I could lubricate them to help out. I removed housing that covers the pulley (bad move) & now because of the tension of the ropes it will not go back in place. Both side were noisy but thank goodness, I only removed one on the left side looking from the diving board. I tried for 2 hours yesterday evening without success. Any suggestions other than calling the pool store. I looked on the pool cover manufacturer but couldn't find anything. Can I find some magic fix for my problem. I will probably order 2 new pulleys but have bit yet. Just trying to put it back together like it was before.
