The mechanical timers from Intermatic seem to dominate the market because they work and work pretty well. You will have to visit their site to find a model that will suit your situation.

To be clear, are you looking for a timer that has no problem being out in the freezing weather ... and/or ... a timer that has built-in freeze protection that will turn on the pump automatically if the air temp drops too low to protect your plumbing?
