I was looking for some North Texas (Dallas / Ft Worth) input on what do with seasonal pool in the Winter? I have a Summer Escapes 15x42 (side skimmer pump/filter type). After this past week's cool off I am thinking it will soon be too cold (water temp was 65 this morning) for anymore swimming this year.

I am leaning towards leaving it up.
1. Should I keep it uncovered and follow the regular maintenance?
2. Drain it below skimmer/pump - remove those for storage - clean as needed?
3. Drain it below skimmer/pump - remove those for storage - Cover pool and clean in spring?

I'm on I-20 dead East of you and I don't close my AGP. Don't know but a few who do and they are inground pools. After the leaves are down it's pretty easy. Chem usage drops to a bare minimum. Just run the pump minimally and then constantly when any freeze danger is around.
