So i'm in the market for a safety cover and my PB gave me a quote of $1959 plus tax on a Merlin cover (haven't gotten the specifics but I plan on trying to drive the bus on what type (smart mesh I'm thinking)). It also includes full installation and the closing of my pool. Until I see the specs on the cover I don't know what to think of it....but doesn't that seem cheap? Any insight on Merlin covers? is the smart mesh the way to go?
Pool supply store gave me a unofficial quote on the phone for a GLI for around $2600 with installation. I need to see some hard numbers but is that about what I should expect to pay for s Grecian lazy-L 22x18.5x40? Loop Loc is coming by next week to measure and give me an estimate as well.
