We are getting ready to close up our 22 ft Intex Ultra Frame. This was our first year for it and our first pool. We have decided to leave it up for the winter. (live in south central PA). We plan on draining the pool below the return and skimmer and unhooking the hoses and pump and storing inside. What I'm not sure of, is what do you do with the return and skimmer holes? Do you need a special plug for them or just leave them open after you remove everything? I've purchased a good winter cover, air pillows and a cover drain to help with everything also.
