    Welcome to TFP!

It depends on how you want to use it, because you will use it like you build it. If you want to play volley ball a lot, go with the "play" or "sport" option where it's just deep in the middle. This might be 3.5-4.0' on ends to 5.0-5.5' in the middle.

Maybe you want a slide on one end, so make it deeper there. About 6-7' for that. If you want a diving board you need to go longer and deeper. At least 34 ft and 8.5-9.0' deep on one end.

    Hi Patrick,

thank you for the reply. If I want to do it as for the lap pool. but the longer I can do is 26 due to the space. However if the 3.5 deep. is it ok to make a turn and with out hitting the leg in the low side ?

If it were me, I would go ahead and make it 4'.

4 on each end. 6 in the middle.
