I ran out of my R-0871 from my Taylor K-2006 and went to LPS and they did not have any but had R-0002 in the 2oz size and said it was the same. So, any thoughts. Is it the same?

R-0002 is used for the DPD chlorine test (which also uses R-0001 and R-0003) not the FAS-DPD chlorine test which uses the R-0870, R0871, and R-0003.

Similar questions comes up from time to time about Taylor products.
If the Taylor numbers are not identical, then neither are the products and I can think of none that can be interchanged.
