I am planning on draining and doing an acid wash on the pool this off season. I have scaling on my tile as well so Im wondering if the acid will removed this as well or do I need some other product?
To answer your question, yes, acid removes calcium scale off of tile.
However, BoDarville is correct that bead or sand blasting may work much better.
And that is because "scale" above the water line often contains ingredients other than calcium which are not easily dissolved away by acid.
